Speech recognition technology is one from the fast growing engineering technologies. It has a number of applications in different areas and provides potential benefits. Nearly 20% people of the world are suffering from various disabilities; many of them are blind or unable to use their hands effectively. The speech recognition systems in those particular cases provide a significant help to them, so that they can share information with people by operating computer through voice input. This project is designed and developed keeping that factor into mind, and a little effort is made to achieve this aim. Our project is capable to recognize the speech and convert the input audio into text; it also enables a user to perform operations such as “save, open, exit” a file by providing voice input. It also helps the user to open different system software such as opening Ms-paint, notepad and calculator. At the initial level effort is made to provide help for basic operations as discussed above, but the software can further be updated and enhanced in order to cover more operations.

Communication is one of the basic requirements for survival in society. People with hearing or speaking impairments communicate using sign languages, and the language barrier is still a real thing. Our project aims to lessen this gap, to aid in communication, using a real-time ISL recognition system built with an LSTM algorithm. There is a lack of standard datasets for the classification of ISL characters, so we have collected a dataset using MediaPipe Holistic landmarks of face, pose, left and right hand for tracking and identifying the region of interest. The dataset consists of classes A-Z. The system collects the input via the web camera and displays the fingerspelled letter on the screen as the output. The system is trained using the LSTM algorithm and evaluated to get the best accuracy to recognize the dynamic gestures.

The study aims to find the best speed controller for the BLDC motor. It is important to control the speed of BLDC motor to work at the desired rate. We have various speed control methods for BLDC motor, among all we studied PI controller and Antiwindup PI controller. With the Help of MATLAB/Simulink, we created a virtual model of BLDC motor using these controllers. The speed control analysis is based on the simulation result of these two controllers. This study includes the integral windup or rollover issue that arises in the PI controller and the Antiwindup PI controller eliminates this integral windup arising in the BLDC motor. In this paper, we designed and simulate the BLDC motor model with PI controller and Antiwindup PI controller. Also compared the result of speed response on MATLAB Simulink software.

To conduct the tests, three different coating were prepared by making the use of Beeswax, Silica fume and Octeo silane respectively for having a comparison of the characteristics, which will have the water repellency, antibacterial properties and will possess high durability along with good chemical resistance. Since the beeswax is highly inert and is widely used as an waterproofing agent so by conducting this study we have studied the ability of the beeswax made coating by using processed Linseed oil for strengthening the characteristics.

Fly ash, a waste generated by thermal power plants is as such a big environmental concern. The investigation reported in this paper is carried out to study the utilization of fly ash in cement concrete as a partial replacement of cement as well as an additive so as to provide an environmentally consistent way of its disposal and reuse. This work is a case study for Deep Nagar thermal power plant of Jalgaon District in MS. The cement in concrete matrix is replaced from 5% to 25% by step in steps of 5%. It is observed that replacement of cement in any proportion lowers the compressive strength of concrete as well as delays its hardening. This provides an environmentally friendly method of Deep Nagar fly ash disposal.

The proposed system uses a sensors to detect a fire in the field that includes Flame sensor, light sensor, and ESP 32 CAM with alert on mobile.The proposed system is divided into two subsystems named Fire detection system to detect fire and Fire prevention system to extinguish fire. This system runs continuously by using water pump without failure. At the time of fire detection, the default system is ON only if no action is taken by the farmer with a given time stamp. The system continuously scans data from the sensor in the field and stores data in Firebase and then analyzes the data based on the algorithm and stops the fire before it spreads in the crop.

The remotely operated underwater vehicle also known as ROVs are like underwater robots designed to explore different depths of water for industrial and research purposes. There has been an increased risk to human life during underwater explorations, different types of observational and work-class ROV are used to reduce such problems. The Mini observational class ROV proposed in this paper is equipped with different sensors like BME280 and MPU6050 to collect temperature, pressure, humidity as well 6-axis digital motion track of the vehicle respectively during its operation, since it is an observation class ROV it also has an onboard camera, all the data from the sensors and the video feed from camera are sent to the ground by Raspberry pi 4 a microcomputer connected to the internet through Ethernet protocol. The motion control of the mini ROV in different directions is initiated by a transmitter and receiver, dc brushless motors are used as thrusters which are attached to a cylindrical PVC pipe. The DC brushless motors provide the required translational, ascent, or descent movements of the vehicle. The design of the mini ROV provides good stability, portability, it is cost- effective and it can be operated in deep-water and for shallow water applications.

The project is aimed at designing a density based dynamic traffic signal system where the timing of signal will change automatically on sensing the traffic density at any junction. Traffic congestion is a severe problem in most cities across the world and therefore it is time to shift more manual mode or fixed timer mode to an automated system with decision making capabilities. Present day traffic signalling system is fixed time based which may render inefficient if one lane is operational than the others. To optimize this problem, we have made a framework for an intelligent traffic control system. Sometimes higher traffic density at one side of the junction demands longer green time as compared to standard allotted time. We therefore propose here a mechanism in which the time period of green light and red light is assigned based on the density of the traffic present at that time. This is achieved by using IR (proximity Infrared sensors).

The proposed idea primarily focuses on e-ploughing which can be smooth and time saving, along with that, processes such as seeding, bedding, chopping of weeds/dead plants, etc. all can be done with the facility of detachable plough tool arrangement. In this way a lot of help can be offered to the farmers by making their work efficient and smooth through the process of e-ploughing.

The working of the project is based on Arduino micro-controller, motor drivers and a Bluetooth module. In this system, there is an android application to give specific voice commands to the robot. And the robot has the Arduino board with a Bluetooth transceiver module which receives the commands and the robot car will follow according to the voice command.. This lack of bending is a major cause of failure under stress and has been a contributing factor in the development of special materials. This feature is able to display highly improved flexibility. The fibers used ECC are micromechanically designed. To maximize performance, a High Range Water Reduction (HRWR) agent must be added to ECC. In contrast, no coarse aggregates are used in ECCs, which has a relatively high powder content. Passive cooling techniques can reduce the peak cooling load in buildings, thus reducing the size of the air conditioning equipment and the period for which it is generally required. This paper reviews and critically analyzes various passive cooling techniques and their role in providing thermal comfort and its significance in energy conservation. The implementation of passive cooling into office buildings are becoming increasingly common due to a wide range of factors including the damage caused by an office buildings energy consumption, operation on the environment, increasing electricity prices, change in the climate conditions, worsening of heat islands, increase in greenhouse effect and so on. Passive cooling involves the incorporation of techniques with the intention to treating the internal environment of an office building in a natural means without the use of mechanical means, to improve the buildings performance globally.

The explosive growth and uneven distribution of population, poor irrigation practices, rapid urbanization/industrialization, large-scale deforestation and improper land use practices have induced the depletion and pollution of both the surface and groundwater resources in India. In addition, recurrent drought further aggravates the problem of water even for drinking, especially in rural areas. The aim of this study is to identify favourable artificial recharge sites of this aquifer system based on the combined use of remotely sensed data, a geographic information system (GIS). The present study attempts to Identify the potential recharge zones and locations for artificial recharge structures in Upper Godavari Sub-basin. The input data for this analysis are different layers like geology, geomorphology, soil, rainfall, land use-land cover, soil lineament density and drainage density. The result depicted the groundwater potential zones into four categories, viz., good, moderate, low and poor That and can be used for better planning and management of groundwater resources. Various groundwater recharge Structures like boulder dams, check dams, percolation tanks, recharge pits etc., were suggested in appropriate locations of Upper Godavari sub basin according to the derived results.

Use of composite sleepers not only reduces the land pollution from stray waste plastics but also ensure less destruction to the forests. As composite ties are strong, durable, and reliable, they require less maintenance and have longer life than common railroad ties. Therefore, they can be an excellent, cost-effective and long-term solution.If we use a pre-stressed concrete sleepers or steel sleepers then then initial setup cost as well as maintenance cost will be high. So, it is necessary to introduce such a sleeper which is economical and eco-friendly.

In order to study either its beneficial or harmful effect; evaluation of any project through EIA has become a must; Indian construction industry is rapidly growing at a rate of 9.2% as against the world average of 5.5%. Undertaking EIA for construction industry and improving site management can reduce environmental impacts both on and off site. Several agencies use procedures for EIA of construction projects which might result in significant environmental impacts. The EIA study is necessary to prepare a detailed account of environmental impact of the proposed activity so that appropriate actions could be taken. An attempt has been made in this project report to study environmental clearances required for high rise building construction project using checklist analysis methodology. The study focuses on various parameters such as shadow analysis, wind analysis, zoning, water quality and nearest sensitive zones (coastal zoning). The plan attempts to define the project in a whole manner and suggest possible mitigation measures for development. The project report argues that through early planning before the start of the project as well as through all phases of the project’s development, if environmental concerns are considered simultaneously with other technical and economic criteria, it may be possible to develop the housing projects with the protection of natural resources of that area.

This report reviews the uses of ash as a raw materials and addition of foaming agent to the geopolymer mixture to provide light-weight bricks. Most factory-made bricks with incorporation of foaming agent have shown positive effects by manufacturing light-weight bricks, increased consistency and improved the thermal conductivities of fly ash-based geopolymer bricks. This report presents an economic analysis of manufacturing geopolymer bricks for use in the construction sector.

The objective of this research was to develop a soy-based luminescent sealant for use on concrete surfaces. The luminescent sealant is a mixture of soy methyl ester polystyrene (SME 50 PS) and strontium aluminate; a phosphorescent powder that slowly luminesces after being excited by light. A test procedure was developed to quantify the magnitude and duration of the luminance of the coated concrete surface, which is key to evaluating the performance of the luminescent sealant. The luminescent sealant was excited in a consistent manner with a xenon lighting system that simulates sunlight, a photometer (light measuring instrument) that measures the luminance of the excited concrete surface, and a housing unit to prevent extraneous light from the surroundings to influence the test results. The results of the tests performed indicate that the luminescent surface emits light i.e glows) for approximately 24 hours in a dark space after it was excited. It was found that larger particles of strontium aluminate luminesce for a longer time than smaller particles. The excited sealant’s luminance was independent of time exposed to Light coming from the xenon lighting system.

To conduct the tests, three different coating were prepared by making the use of Beeswax, Silica fume and Octeo silane respectively for having a comparison of the characteristics, which will have the water repellency, antibacterial properties and will possess high durability along with good chemical resistance. Since the beeswax is highly inert and is widely used as an waterproofing agent so by conducting this study we have studied the ability of the beeswax made coating by using processed Linseed oil for strengthening the characteristics.

The using Web RTC helps to stream real time video and audio buy converting it into a continuous array buffer. Every connection attempt generates a new unique id. The data transferred needs to be converted into an array buffer before sending it and at the receiver peer the array buffered data is converted into blobs.STUN servers are used to get the actual users IP address. Whenever the connection between the two peers is not possible then the TURN (Traversal Using Relays around NAT) server is used for establishing the connection.

The location of charging stations has a considerable impact on the efficiency of an autonomous mobile robot. In this project, we look at how to put charging stations for mobile robots in a regulated environment. This project involves the creation of a portable charging station. It will be used to keep beach cleaning robots charged. For charging the robots, we use both traditional and wireless charging techniques.

This paper is an excellent example of Human computer interaction where the user can perform actions of a mouse without using any external hardware mouse, we can achieve this by adapting various artificial intelligence algorithms and python libraries. The working of this system starts when we first assign gestures into the machine as input values eg; scroll up and down, click and double clicks and drag and drop etc, user can select gestures as per his/her choices then these assigned gestures are recorded using webcam so by this the data is filmed and actions are performed in the machine virtually. This saves the cost of the external mouse and also provides users with privilege of operating the machine easily.

Solutions might include complex inter-disciplinary relations among fields such as public health, city and regional planning, political science, geography, sociology, economics, communication and conservation, demography, engineering. Bangalore city’s Solid waste management techniques were found to be incompetent with increasing rate of waste generation. With a view of improving waste management techniques in Bangalore, study tour of Gujarat was undertaken and further comparative analysis of waste management techniques were made.

Abstract: Hovercraft is an important tool used for many purposes. It can float above any kind of space. The Hovercraft is sometimes referred to as the Air Cushion Vehicle because of its ability to navigate through the air- filled cushionnor skirt and cause the board to float above the ground, and run on thrust bengine. forward and fill the pillow with the lifting engine. In this study, focus mainly on analysis and process regarding the design and implementation of the Hovercraft performance model. The various factors that are important in designing a model hovercraft process are listed here. Later, appropriate equipment was selected and Hovercraft performance improved. The main problem is to create insufficient pressure on the air cushion and which leads to a decrease in the accuracy and performance of the model. The main purpose of our project is to produce a water-based vehicle that can also operate in less congested areas.

DC motors are easier to control than AC motors; hence they are widely used in industries where speed is varied according to the requirement. Speed Control mechanism in DC motor is that we cannot change their speed like the way we change the speed of synchronous motor or induction motor by changing their input voltage frequency. Instead, methods like flux control, voltage control are applied to control speed. Therefore, DC motors are preferred over AC motors. Hence, there is a need for a speed control method that will help us control the motor’s speed efficiently. In this system, we focus on making a system in which can help students to get to know about the speed control methods used for a dc motor. Here we use three types of speed control methods for DC motors are used viz. Speed Control Using Arduino Nano, Chopper Circuit, and Pot-Transistor Circuit. These speed control methods can be used consecutively.
